I am building a park this year and would like to hear some of the ideas some of you may have y=used in your or you just have heard about and if you do know any easy way to build a a-frame please let me know. Also any good heights for a drop in ramp or should I just use a MOTOR OPERATED pull rope. I just need ideas starting in the next few months.
I made one last year, but barely used it because I had almost no snow. I got
This was me and a friends at his house, he has a nice long sloped hill
10ft box/2ft wide with hope
10ft rail with a 5inch diameter pipe
10ft shot gun rail/4inch wide
like 3 5ft tube sections/10inch diameter/8inch diameter/7inch diameter
8ft box/1ft wide (made from scraps so its not very nice and like 6inch high but versatile
10ft rail 4inch diameter tube rail
8ft high, 5ft wide wall ride (its sketchy, don't have plans for it because we used what we had)
At a different friends house:
10ft 7 inch diameter tube
13ft 9inch diameter fatty tube
10ft box/10inch wide
10ft shotgun rail
10ft 4inch diameter tube rail
10ft/12 inch diameter corregated tube (it sucks)
If you make a park in the winter, to make kinks just put snow under the rail to make it an up/down rail (a lot easier if you have a hill). In the summer its a lot harder to make kinked rails other than like elbows and Y rails and whatever. I recommend like a barrel to do stalls and stuff. Also its all about creativity with what you got. If you can make a legit park that has a nice hill or space, make it flow and make lines for it. If you have a box, tilt it sideways in the snow or something. Instead of making a flat rail and down rails, make a Y rail or elbow or make a rail like a ft to the left after another rail (watch summer setup videos and you'll probably see what I mean). Its all about placement and creativity.
