Idea for winch

Not sure a lawnmower has enough torque to actually move you but that is strictly from estimation and would be simple enough to research.

yeah when i googled it at first i found a wakeskate version of NS and they started talking logistics but they seemed to think a 6.5 would work

ik a 9.9 on a 12ft tin boat has enough to pull someone so i figure this should work since itll just be pull 1 person

If you were planning on tipping the lawn mower on it's side it would not work. The fuel intake is located on the bottom of the fuel cell and when tipped the gas would not be pumped into the engine.

If you were planning to raise the lawnmower and then use a spool under it, I think it's a great idea. Sure there may be workarounds, but I think in the long run it'll save some money.

Also, regardless of how you plan to attach a spool, I don't think there is a torque converter or any type of gears in between the engine and blade, so there may not be enough stock power to pull someone. The engines were designed to spin an object of little weight fast, not be a sturdy form of torque.

I don't think attaching the spool directly to the output shaft of the lawnmower engine will work. The unbalanced spool will cause the whole thing to shake apart.

A Lave motor could work
