Most neighborhoods and ringing suburbs ( 8 mile being the one that everyone knows) are more dangerous. Suburban single home areas surrounding the city are victim to most of gang related violence. Have you ever heard of devils night? So yes I do know the difference. I also know the area I'm talking about. And I don't feel insulted because I can not take your statements seriously

S.J.WGuns scare the living shit out of me. Coming from Australia where I rarely see guns, and when I see a police officer, or a secruity guard, etc holding a gun I don't trust them. Exact same when I went to America for a little holiday. Didn't like it one bit, didn't trust them and felt scared for pretty much my whole tripp. Yeah 99.9% of the time it's all good and I'm allowing my emotions to better my rational thinking. But it just takes one snap of the brain for someone to kill someone. Once you pull that trigger you can't get that bullet back. Where as if someone snaps and tries to beat me up I'm pretty confident I could handle them pretty easily.

TLDR, guns scare me, emotions over rational thinking.
