Another sizing thread uggghhhh
I'm about to order JSKIS but was debating on the 164 and 171 size.
Coming off a 150
Growing rapidly but not sure what I'll be by next season
Hopefully will get them mounted when I go to camp the 21st so comment ASAP
What will be best? I will be skiing park 95% of park next season, and live more in the rails than jumps but want to improve my jump game a lot.
You could honestly do either, but if you're growing rapidly I'd get the 171.
Last summer I was 5'6" and coming off a 168, and I got a pair of 171s rather than 176s thinking I'd only gow an inch. Then I grew three inches in November.
I work with a guy who is 5'8 and about 170lbs and he rides the 171 with no problem dou would think the 164 will be great for you. No point goin long when you are still growing as you will just end up with a longer heavier ski with more swing weight.
if you f want the ski to last a while I'd size up. Better to suffer 1 season with a poorly sized ski then multiple ones afterwords when its too short. If your having trouble then go back to the 150s for a little while if you still have them.
