Longest time you've spent trying to find a song

i remember last year Steve Stepp put out a they see me trollin video and it had a song in it that I wanted. Stupid Steve didn't put creds to the artist in the video so I had to listen to the video over and over to try and make out the lyrics, then search for them online, that shit took me like 2 days. I finally just decided to PM Steve on IG and he gave me the songs name at 2 am

Fuckin' like 2 weeks. It was easy enough to find the song by Googling the lyrics, but there was a particular remixed version used in a Sammy Carlson edit that was beyond fire.

Ended up finding it in the bowels of YouTube under some super irrelevant name.

This song took me so long, probably over a year or more. Actually I heard it first in this video, but I didn't pay attention to it at all, then a week after I remembered the lyrics and then I couldn't recall where I listen to them or the song itself. (the lyrics I remembered were not so accurate and couldn't google them)
After a long time, and for no reason at all, I watched the video again and I was fucking shocked when I listened the song again.

It is the second song of this video, of course watch the video because there is some sick skating.

Googled the lyrics and did only find the original version. Found it about 4 months later searching for schoolboy q on souncloud.
