SteezySmith57What places are near, and how's the community? I'm curious about college there as I'm about to be applying
JustGoWithItThe closest to UMNTC would be Hyland, Afton and Buck Hill. All of them have amazing vibe.

Hyland probably has the best park followed by Afton. Where are you applying?

SteezySmith57im hoping to apply to some out of state places like utah and colorado, but since im in wisconsin im looking at some nearby places as well. im probably gonna apply to the U of Utah and UMTC and then some other places in wisconsin.
any word on the requirements to get in to UMTC?
JustGoWithItThe Twin Cities campus is nice and is really big (50,000+ students). If you are looking for a city experience and want to have access to the resources that a campus of its size can offer then the Twin Cities campus might be a good place for you. As for requirements, I think the average entering GPA is around a 3.6 and the ACT is about 30. It is probably the hardest of all the U of M campuses to get into. I'm going to UMD this fall, and so far based off what I have heard and what I was able to see during the tour I really like it. It's about a quarter of the size of the Twin Cities campus, but it still has a lot of programs and things to do. Spirit Mountain is on the south end of town and it is only an hour drive to Lutsen so the skiing should be pretty good.
SteezySmith57ill have to tour them both, but now from the sound of it UMTC seems hard to get into
