Flat 3 help

so ive been trying to learn flat 3s on the tramp and I really don't know how to learn them I've been trying the progression step where I do it to my back then roll over but it doesn't seem to be helping and I feel im just not throwing it correctly. I'm a lot of people have different ways of doing it but I don't want mine to turn out like wackflips I want them to look like the one thrown in this vid at around 0:25. does anhome have tips?

For me I pull my left shoulder back as far as possible, while looking over my left shoulder (a little up but mostly just to the side) while reaching for japan with my right hand. The japan grab made it happen for me, when I started learning it.

I try to set/start Lincoln loop then back flip kinda that what works for me then just get the grab good luck.

I can do exactly what brett just described just fine but when I grab japan all hell breaks lose and it's an underflip 450 or flat 270ish.

This and when you are setting try to look back like towards the drop or if you are on the tramp then pretty much right behind you. Also open your shoulders up to the sky and keep your chest open I think this helps flatten it and it looks better.

personally i try to get my legs in front of me while doing a 360 (like a kick where you continue spinning) to be as flat as possible.

the key is to really shoot your legs upwards in front of you.
you throw your legs upward, wait for them to get to the same height as your shoulders and then you look for the landing.
the more you send your leg side ways, the more flat it will look

the key is really a big dynamic pop with a bit of patience.

I drop my shoulder theN look up to the sky and spin the 3 then the landing just comes around

I try to pull both my legs over one shoulder if that doesn't work do a Lincoln and try to pull yourself back.

Just do what everybody else does and do a backflip Japan and call it a flat 3.

Set a backflip on takeoff, Then open up your left shoulder and grab japan.
