Bought some skis with marker griffons, skied on them a day and noticed a lot of toe wiggle, so I took them to a shop and they said that the holes were all volcanoed and that with a remount it would dial out all of the toe play. I didn't want to put any more holes in these skis (on their 2nd mount at the time) but this guy insisted that it would make a huge difference.
Got them remounted for my boot, he fixed the volcanoed holes, plugged them, and said they were good to go.
While still in the shop I put the boot in the ski and noticed just as much if not more toe wiggle than before and was pretty pissed. Told the guy Im not paying for a mount that I didn't need that didn't fix the problem but the guy said he couldn't refund the money and that I was pretty much shit out of luck (Fuck you Competitive Edge btw). He said that there was nothing he could do.
Before you say it:
My boots are NOT worn down, had the guy at the shop look at them
Forward pressure is set correct and tightening it a few clicks didn't do anything so I returned it to the correct forward pressure.
AFD's are in tact not dented or damaged in any way
Any ideas what could be causing this and if i could get a taller AFD to replace it with
+k to any help
