Are E cigs and Marijuanna actually addicting?

So I was thinking about this today. I've never actually tried them, but IMO anything can be addicting. It's all a matter of the willpower a person has to quit. Are they actually addicting? I'd like to try them eventually but not right now. Opinions would be helpful!

Yes, weed has the potential to be psychologically addicting and e-cig juice usually contains nicotine. Unless you're using an ecig to quit, they're just kinda goofy.

When talking about addiction, there's two different types: physical and mental.

Smoking pot is incredibly hard to become physically addicted to. I've heard of some people getting headaches going old turkey after chronic use, but almost 100% of the time, the person is addicted to the lifestyle and cannot quit because they are in the mindset that they NEED it to function.

On the other hand, something like alcohol or hard drugs such as coke, heroin, etc. are extremely addictive in the physical sense. If someone is drinking/using for an extended period of time, stopping all-together will trigger physical side-effects and sometimes even kill them if their body has built a high enough dependency. I would say cigs can easily fall under this category.

Both types can be dangerous, but physical addiction is usually a lot more detrimental.

Presently, they may be addicting a poor soul. However, that is only due to their properties making them psychologically or physiologically addictive.

Weed is the same addiction as skiing, you like skiing and you have a good time, you are not addicted like cigarettes.
Also e cigs can be addicted in the sense of nicotine but also a lot of people have 0 nicotine and just vape for big clouds, vape tricks, and have a good time building

I see your point but I'm pretty sure I get some nasty withdrawals from skiing.

So I quit smoking weed about a week ago for a drug test for a job and have had no withdrawal symptoms and I was a very heavy smoker, everyday multiple times. I really feel no different but it just sucks cuz all my friends are heavy smokers to so the temptation is always there but I never really felt that I NEEDED to smoke.So no weed is not addictive. and anyone who says it is is talking out there ass and probably has never smoked.
Ecigs on the other are addictive if there is nicotine in them but otherwise not really

I think weed is more of a dependency, if anything. I used to not be able to sleep if I didn't have my daily dose of marijuana. I took a week long break and now I am fine

It's addictive in a physical way, you like skiing and you want to keep doing it so you aren't as happy when you arent.
