"The jinx" on HBO

Who watched the mini series? I thought that was some of the most entertaining film I've ever seen. You know the guy is crazy because he voluntarily sawed a guy that he killed in "self defense" just coincidentally gets arrested this weekend as the series climaxes with hand-written evidence "Beverley". Vince Gilligan could not have written a fiction as good as this. Plz discuss.

Epic ending. The smoking gun is his distinct all capital handwriting on a note the killer wrote, anyone can notice it's his handwriting. And the guy has these bizarre poker faces. They show him the evidence and he gets nauseous, he scratches his head and blinks and fidgets when he lies and acts like everything is fine

Started it yesterday and finished it about an an hour ago. It was solid, hooked me right from the start.

The dude is obviously nuts. Anybody who has $30,000+ in his car, a few hundred in his pocket and steals a sandwich while he's a fugitive from the law is missing a few screws. That's also not even acknowledging all of the other crazy shit he did.

I watch pawn stars and I can never tell if it's Marilyn Monroes handwriting or frank Sinatras because it's usually cursive or loopy but this block handwriting jumps out as being immediately identical

Watched the first 3 ep. last night with the gf and I'm totally hooked. Jarecki did a fantastic job. I'm at work and got a text from the gf today for a link to the other 3 so you can finish it without me. Definitely a very captivating story with a lot of twists and turns. Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it.


Also, did anyone pick up that they basically stole the intro from True Detective? Literally the same style and colors, pretty funny actually.

I need to start watching stuff the day it airs. The ending was intense even though I knew what was coming, I can't imagine how good that must have been going in with no idea.

Totally!! haha. I knew it seemed familiar but didn't make the connection. Nice work.

The show is awesome. Really good. I have so many questions for Jarecki though, especially with the evidence, timeline, etc...I think he's gonna get some heat.
