We all have them.

Yesterday my my dad and I went to deer valley after 3 years, and I rode over a rock and heard a loud scrape. Panicked, I popped off my ski, and it was fine. I clipped in and rode off only to realize that I did not fully clipped in and had a massive Yard sale and walked it off.

Whats your gaper moment story.

We were jibbing around today and I tried to do this thing were you go up to the knuckle of a jump really fast and turn 90 right at the top so you air it sideways. Anyways I caught and did a crazy spread eagle to flats and ate total shit

Hiked up early one season while there was this party going on at the lodge, unfortanutly I by the time I got to where I wanted to ski down from it was borderline dark and there was zero definition in the snow. I ditched the line I had planned and ended up going the whole way down in full blown gaper stance, arms out legs spread, through a bunch of moguls.

A couple weekends ago I was gonna front surface on a tube and I went to hop on it and thought about it wayyyy too much. Slipped the fuck out and looked like a huge gaper. Oops.

I took my liners out last year. Put them back in, but I put them in the wrong boot. Didn't realise til I skied for about an hour that they were crooked

This year i crashed into the lift line fencing and took it out. Also have dropped my pole right when i got on the lift and tried to grab it and they had to stop the lift

Was skiing switch down a slow trail without looking behind me and jammed my ass into a huge metal snowgun. Was stuck under it for 5 minutes.

When you're going mach speed down a trail and you keep launching side booters and every time you land your goggles fall half way down your face and eventually you just give up and ski with your goggles covering your mouth

was getting on the lift and just swinging my legs like a retard, one of my tips snagged and got caught on the ground and pulled me off the lift onto my face. they didnt stop the lift tho

Tried to clear a little 10 foot gap between some trees under the chair (top of blitzen at Granite)... Caught an edge and hit the tree, fell into the stream that runs down the mountain.

Thought it would be a good idea to straddle the little gates in the lift line, pants were to low, pants caught on the nut sack, I fell on my face only to look up and see people looking at me, that was my gaper moment

At killy 2 springs ago it was ~45 and bluebird and right under the quad chair next to the base of the park a guy shredding the fuck out of the steeps off the side of the trail tried gapping the stream that runs under the lift.

Dude sees stream, straight lines to it

Dude bunch pops like a true thug

Dude hits other side of stream

Dudes skis sink instantly into 2 feet of old pow/slush

Double eject-yardsale-faceplant-scorpion-tomahawk in that order

About 30 people see this from chairlift. The gaper was real on his walk of shame to get his gear

last season on new sticks i tried nollieing? (wtf is the spelling on that) on the last roller before the lift line, caught my tips, double ejected and proceeded to superman down the run without my skis and landed in a nice tomahawk fashion

One of the few pow days this year I was riding around acting steezy as fk and tried to nollie over a little bush/plant and caught my tips and tomahawked into the ground face first. I did a full somersault and my skis got stuck in the snow and double ejected. All while my friends were watching at the bottom of the hill.

I saw an indian guy bomb the whole hill waving his arms the whole way down because he couldn't turn or stop. He ended up running into the side of the ski corral but he got up so it was ok.

I was at a rail jam, and i hit this donkey with a really hard kink, and my ski randomly shot out like a bullet, and into the crowd. It hit this trash can and the can exploded.

See tree branch. Think look like badass if I nollie over branch under lift. Nollie to late. Pop branch directly into face. Try to ride it out. All my spaghetti is falling out of my pockets. Panic, shit myself. Cross skis and fall over. Start to cry. Slide down hill in a pile of shame.

it was super foggy on saturday, went to hit a down box, missed the box completely somehow and got a tiny but surprising amount of air off the lip, rolled down the windows to massive faceplant.

Talking to a friend in the lift line. Not paying attention, got ahead of myself and I doubled up the lift chair. Some girl took a seat on my lap... They stop the lift. She thinks I'm a douche, liftie gave me props and I tried to play it off like she was Wendy Peffercorn and I was Squints Palledorous.

The first time I attempted a switch one on a (very small) park jump I critically misjudged my speed. Barely made it onto the deck, much to the amusement of the crowd of snowboarders that were watching.

i was riding up collins lift at alta and forgot to pull my poles up at the mid mountain station. lift kept going and my poles snapped right in half in front of the whole mid mountain line

I was casually cruising towards the lift and most of the snow had been scraped off making it icy and then right near the slow sign, all of the chunder was kinda collected there and I wasn't paying attention and ate shit and took out the slow sign.

was trying to send a 6ft long flat rail super deep to switch. just tapped the rail without getting any pop from it, flew about 2 ft off the end before falling. It looked like I was doing my first attempt at a 180 off the lip of a rail.

I once tried to get over the top of a small wallride and the metal on the top caught my ski and sent me forward; sliding on my stomach into a snowboarder standing below.

Probably the worst moment was when I was at the top of a jump line and went to push off with my poles when I dropped, but with short poles I missed the ground and almost fell right on my face.

went to do a 180 to nose butter thingy off a knuckle and somehow completely blew up. My skis popped of and I managed to break a brake...
