Cork 7 help

so i tried a cork 7 the other night and i was pretty pumped about it because i landed but after seeing a video it it was really more of a d spin or a backflip 3. i wanna know if anyone knows how to prevent it

make sure you are able to carve off the lip. start learning with threes if you cannot.

i would need a video to be sure but you're most likely throwing it back too far. It's not like throwing it on a trampoline because you don't have to set it back as hard because the angle of the jump will already have you set back.
