Zero Replacement Oakley Lens

probably cheap Chinese crap. But if they last for a half season id say they are worth it

I've been seeing those on eBay too and might just try it. If it lasts for a year I got no problem throwing down $55 for it because that blue mirror lens looks really good.

My thoughts exactly, but my concern is do they use crap antifog, if any? Will they fog up after one run, scratch while cleaning them, ect.

Oh yeah. So I bought a Zero lens from eBay two weeks ago. Blue Mirror color, shipped from Japan. Fast shipping, lens was flawless when I opened the package. the lens foam between inner/outer lens was perfect too, and there was a peel-off static protector (like on your phone screen) when it came.

Skied with it at Sugar Bowl this weekend, mixed sunlight and cloud cover. These lenses are rad! The blue color pops really well, blocks light hitting your eyes, and good contrast when the light was low. Things weren't completely overcast, so I'm primarily using them for sunny days typical in Tahoe.

I asked my friends if they could see my eyes and they said only when I blink. so pretty much mirror, but not 100% like some Oakley finishes.

Make sure that the lenses have enough UV protection. What many cheap lenses do is they block light coming in to trick your eyes into letting a ton of light in, but the UV rays still are able to pass through the lenses wrecking your eyes. That's why many cheap sunglasses are really bad. Oakley also has a tapering system on their goggles where it tapers to the sides and bottom making them distortion free. You might know it as HDO. Oakley has held a patent for this until this year. If those lenses do block UV rays, and you're getting a killer deal on them then that's sweet. I'm looking for cheap clear lenses for night skiing because they don't need to have any special tech... Just wind and snow blocking. Hope this helps.
