NS, Halo or Call of Duty?

Both are GREAT games and I have gone through spurts of playing both nonstop in my past but, I personally like Halo better. It brings back memories of when XBOX LIVE first came out in 2002 and everyone was playing Halo 2.

So I ask you NS, HALO or COD?

I just bought XB1 on friday, I bought Advanced Warfare and preordered Halo. I have always been a fan as both as well, but love Halo. Advanced warfare is fun af but I have been playing classic domination and classic team deathmatch - so it is just like standard COD. So fun though. I am going to get Halo this friday but I am afraid I will quit playing Advanced Warfare so i might wait. It is a hard choice. I almost waited until today to get the XB1 to save money and just get Halo but I am happy I got COD.

tl;dr I can't decide myself so I can help ya!

source: a 25 year old who just bought XB1 after ~3 years with no video games and saw a XB1 commerical who reminded me how much I love it!

wish I had an xbox one for MCC. Halo's got so much story to it and 5's multiplayer is back to the everyone starts the same, no class nonsense.

I can't remember playing Halo 2 in 2002.


That said, both series have spiralled into turds Halo 2 and COD4:MW are the pinnacle of both series concerning Multiplayer and anything after that are well marketed, polished, bloated good looking turds but still they are bloody turds.

Both games play completely different though, there is no better game.

ehh i've been playing advanced warfare and it is a very similar to the gameplay of other COD games. Except the fact you can jump really high like Halo. Besides that the gameplay is much different.

I grew up on Halo 2, that game was a huge part of my life for a while. I would honestly say that back when it was popular on the original Xbox majority of the people that said they were "going on Xbox Live" meant Halo 2. I made machinima (movies/short films) on there and made good friends that I still keep in touch with today. I honestly wish I had an XB1 to relive the glory days but sadly I don't.

Two different types of FPS shooters. Hard to really say what's better, just really depends what kind of game you're looking for.

It's taken me a lot of getting used to. I was pretty good at all the other cod games but I've been having trouble balancing the jumping and fast action with the patience and observation required for normal cod games. I find if I focus on trying to slow things down I'm much more successful, otherwise I just constantly get killed from behind

definitely.. my brother was having a hard time too so we just play the classic domination like I was saying earlier.. You can always do that if you like the old school way

ive played all the cod's, always thought mw2 was the best and ever since have not found one i enjoyed as much. On halo, i enjoy them quite a bit also but never got into them as much, seeing as most of my friends in highschool ect. played cod. Both games are good, but prefer cod even though the last few havent been as good. Have gotta try out advanced warfare here sometime soon if i ever feel like buying it though.
