I just bought some Roshe Runs for $30 off AliExpress, anyone have experience with them? I'm wondering about shipping times and returns and stuff. Also Alibaba is an amazing company and Jack Ma is my homie.
since its a site that shows you stuff from tons of different vendors, the shipping time will vary. I have bought a couple of cheap jerseys off there and it usually takes 2 weeks for it to come. But other than the long wait, everything was good for me
I buy stuff from there weekly. Mainly electronic parts but I've also gotten some decent sunglasses and some great skateboard wheels.
Shipping takes around 4 weeks but it's usually free. Their buyer protection stuff and return policies are meaningless. If you have a problem, the seller will just stall and send confusing broken english messages until the dispute period expires, so you are basically just taking a chance by ordering. I've always gotten my orders, but sometimes the stuff is supremely junky, and other times it's great. Super random.
Roshes are fake. Jerseys are fake. Everything is fake.
With that being said, I ordered a PSG Ibrahimovic soccer jersey and it is one of the best fakes I have ever seen. Everything is exactly the same as the authentic one and the quality is actually pretty great. For $18.99 it was a no brainer. Can't speak to the quality of the Roshes, but I can definitely tell you they are not real. My little brother got a pair of Nike's on there and they're pretty shit in terms of material used to make em.
Anyways, what makes a shoe made in China more fake than another one made in China (other than difference in quality obviously)?

Fake: not made by or in order of the original designer/company. China products =/= China products per se.
The difference in quality can be quite huge, original products are usually made to far tighter tolerances. Design is usually always off (mostly because it was probably was described on the phone to a contractor who drew up some plans based on that and then faxed that on to his sub-contractors.)
Huh interesting site here, i can only assume every product on here is fake, but with something like sneakers it might be worthwhile to just order a new sneaker when the old one gets run down and youll have a fresh sneaker for longer than the real Nike made version would last for cheaper or the equivalent price.

Not necessarily fake.
what happens a lot of the time is a brand name company will have some Chinese factory make 100,000 of X product. Once the order is done the factory will make 100,000 more using the exact same dies before destroying them then sell them to whoever without the brand name, but the same product.
I use the site to buy fake jewelery for like halloween or just ordinary goofing around. Shipping sucks dinks, but whatever, it's free and comes from China, so I can't complain.

I agree that the difference in quality can be huge. I also stated that theres no difference other than (sometimes) quality. In the case of my jersey: it is made of the same material other jerseys are made of, and all the details (the number, stitched badge, name, nike logo, nike authenticity badge etc.) are perfect. Only reason I think its fake is a slight difference in the texture of one of the badges. If the quality is there, the difference between real or fake is a matter of Nike's CEO telling you which to buy..
I'm fully prepared to accept that their fake, I'm just hoping they look authentic and are somewhat well built. If this order goes well I'm planning on buying some 15$ Jambox ripoffs. (built by same factory with same mold, no logo on them)

Wel sport jersey's are quite incredibly overpriced, that is mostly Nike/Adidas fucking everyone in the bumhole.
They are cheap and easy to make and no matter how you price them, fans will buy them.
A good example of this:
The price of an official Adidas Ajax shirt with player name and all that is € 110,- The price of the official Adidas National Hockey team shirt with all the extra's: € 30~40,-
They are the exact same shirts apart from the colours, yet the price difference is staggering.
Shoes and most other garments however are far more difficult to manufacture and that's where the replica companies mostly screw up, cut corners etc...
A shirt that doesn't fit exactly right: you probably wouldn't even notice.
A shoe that doesn't fit exactly right: your feet will hurt.
Shirts are also "all there" you can see everything, when they can hide where they cut corners, counterfeit companies will do so. iPad chargers, cables, everything.
Sorry for the bump, but the shoes just showed up. As expected they are fakes, but they are pretty well built. They feel and look like a real Nike product, but the pull tab isn't the right size, and the swoosh is the wrong color.
Like everyone else has said, its all "fake". That being said, all the hockey jerseys I own are "fake". I recently ordered 2 Pens jerseys from Aliexpress. One came in like 5 days, the other didn't arrive for like a month. They look legit as hell, but they obviously aren't. I would say it is legit, just be prepared to wait!
