Destiny is probably the only reason why I would buy a next-gen console. That said, it looks like it'll be a pretty good reason.

So I just got the beta code and entered it. But it gave me 3 12 digit codes.
Wtf am i supposed to do? I entered one of them and it says downloading beta. Am i able to give the other 2 codes to friends or something so they can play with me?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure bungee and infinity ward teamed up to make this game, hence the halo and cod mixed feel

I too was looking forward to this until I saw the release date is Dec 31st 2015, so basically 2016. Or so says gamestop's site.

And it's Ubisoft so it'll probably be delayed anyway.

Yes, as long as they're on the same console as you are. Since the codes that you received only work for that console.

played the beta, it was pretty fun. dont see it being like "the" next major rpg franchise or anything. it'll be fun for a year or two and it'll die off.

No because bungie doesn't make halo anymore. Which is why they are making the game for ps3/4 and because microsoft fucked them over they probably aren't trying as hard on the xbox versions.

So i guess there is actually a competitive multiplayer mode like how you would play call of duty or battlefield or any of the halo games before. It's called crucible when you go into set destination.

It's actually pretty cool it looks like you can do everything that you would when you're on earth but instead of working with other people you're fighting them.

It's basically a team deathmatch.

I played the beta tonight. I don't like it that much so far, in one level there were two tank bosses that required literally ~20-30 minutes of just shooting at them. I'm not much of a gamer in general though, normally Halo is the only console game I play.

When you are in PS menu (i think its called XMB?) go to the right and somewhere in the middle there is icon profile. Click on it and thats where you will find it.

You need to shoot one of the legs until it explodes, then the weak spot will be exposed. Then just rinse and repeat.

i completely agree

i explain it to some of my friends who i used to play borderlands with like its borderlands but with the halo feel.


instead of sanctuary, it's tower. instead of farming skags and robots your farming the fallen and other space monsters, you dont have to worry about collecting thousands of guns and vendoring them all, you do it on the spot. it's a nicely refined version of the whole talent point system, grind out these missions, kill a boss, but in an open online world. and then it doesn't seem like you have to travel for 20 minutes to get across any given zone to one mission area. but then it also doesn't have the typical borderlands humor, either, which was epic.

and then of course the whole reboot "warning, incoming game" but as a random world event every now and again. i wish a giant purple cube came out of the sky and you had to rush to get into it before it hits the ground :D

On the devil walker? What about on Sektis Prime? Is there any way to kill it that doesn't require 20+ minutes of constant shooting?

Just aim for the center, you'll know you hit the right spot when your hits show yellow damage.
