Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

EvanMeyerCurrently 3 weeks into post op on leg surgery and it’s seriously taking a toll on my mental health. I dont really have anyone close to me here in Oregon and have had to do everything myself since breaking my leg which I don’t even want sympathy. it’s just been frustrating trying to do anything from grocery shopping to making food or cleaning my house. Also just pissed off too because even though I’m almost 30 getting ghosted again by a girl you liked is more frustrating when you can’t do anything to take your mind off shit. I knew the depression would be there after getting injured but for someone who already struggles with it pretty regularly it’s become a lot worse the last few weeks.


feeling for you. that time after surgery is the worst. for me the pain was worse and still a bunch of swelling. like the other homies say, it gets better though. How long until weight bearing pt?

I've noticed I get headaches if I sleep too much after a nightshift. I've been on 7 to 730 graveyards for the last week and its been tricky trying to nail the right sleep schedule without being conked out from 8 till 5-6pm. I hate sleeping all day but it feels nice.

Weather is starting to get really pleasant and now a bunch of smoke just blew in from Canadian fires it sounds like. Last time this happened was like 7 years ago and it kind of sucks to have haze in May. Some summers it's like if this state isn't completely on fire we just import someone else's smoke.

it’s so annoying when my coach knit picks every single detail of my rowing. But i’ve gotten noticeably faster in my single. Hearing that i’m on a great run and make it look easy infront of other teams or crews is so satisfying. Or the Put the bullet in the fuckin gun and go to push thru those last 500m of pieces. Can’t wait to paint that Canadian Natty Title on the side of the 190 below the peace bridge along with my senior quote on the finish line next year or the peace bridge pylon. My car has hybrid integrated into the main driveshaft. Then it has a pure EV mode that kicks in at lower speeds, no A/C, etc. that ties into the hybrid alternator. The battery I replaced is regarding the pure EV mode

I was stoked to make it over but will wait till next time. Win some lose some lol. Im gonna make sure I i make my flight to NZ.

Sucks cause i was sort of ready to gtfo after the season. Went down to Oregon for the week. That was sick but prolly would have stayed there if I knew I wasn't gonna go anywhere.

Hopefully the rest of your friends travels go smooth. Lack of pilots has def made the delays go up a ton the last few years

By definition yeah most people are alcoholics lol. I just found it funny af and out of touch. As someone who uses THC nearly every day, that generalization couldn't be more from the truth. I get it people can get addicted to weed. I've seen people become useless and ruin their lives over weed, but I've also seen people live perfectly normal lives smoking just as much or more. People can get addicted to anything and that's their choice. It's bizzare we are still having these conversations. The stigma is so bad still and I bet a lot of coworkers would be shocked if word ever got out.

the big reason against legalization here in MT was that it would be “unsafe” and “unproductive” in the workplace.

These people are kooks, and leading up to the vote, everyday, without fail, this lady would be standing at an intersection waving an anti pot sign. She’d do it for hours as well. Probably would go home with a few glasses of wine thinking about her hard work

Unsure where you are but I came down I70 to go to my parents and the smoke was so much worse on the front range than in the mountains.

I will never understand why so many people become simps to HOAs. 67% of new construction are in HOAs now lol wtf. It's bizzare. I get the general concept but it's still stupid and they're usually overzealous in their rules. And why in the actual fuck would you be content with paying a monthly fee. Sheesh.

It's also fucking annoying when looking for houses. Oh that's a nice house. Nooooope nevermind.

Edit: no one is gonna tell me how to live in my house. Yeah I know cities have rules too but not even in the same ballpark.
