In middle school we went to a wetlands area in like January to learn about what goes on underneath the ice in the ponds. We trudged around the whole wetlands area and finally drilled out a hole to collect water samples. Don't get me wrong it was fun what we were doing but the fact that it was like 0°F out ruined it for everyone.

Water treatment plant and dump in the same day. We hit the dump at like 1:00 on a super hot day so it reaked the entire trip
