K2 twin tips 149cm or 159cm? I'm a 5'3 -115pound girl
I bought 159cm K2 missdemeanor twin tips and I am worried I went to long for my weight (115pounds) and my ability to ski since I’ve only started this past season.
Right now, I feel comfortable going down the hill at moderate speed but want to eventually go faster and do quicker turns, go into the park, hit rails, do small jumps and ride switch.
I want something stable but also manoeuvrable. The 159s are about my height where the 149cm would go to my eye level.
My skis are unmounted. I know it makes a diffrence the way you mount them... any suggestions on this also?
Thank you !
I ride 159 k2 recoils and I find them to be the perfect height. I weigh around 10lbs more than you and am 157cm tall (5'2).
You might find them a little much now since you are still learning but if you are looking for a pair of skis to grow into and last you several years you picked a good size.
Mount at core center. Core center is the center of the arc in your side cut.
