also i feel anytime i get in a sleeping bag or put on fishing waders my farts get ten times worse.

because the shower is a relatively clean area, with good smelling soaps and shit. Once you bring in a terrible smell, like the polar opposite of the shower, it appears to smell much worse just due to the contrast.

I think its a combination of several things. Higher temperature and humidity enhance your senses of smell and taste. Then the air is moving more, with all the convection and steam moving around, so it hits you faster. And then this is all happening in a fairly confined space

To op question, for me its fucking shellfish and just seafood in general, gives me the most heinous gas. Also, baked beans, cabbage, really hoppy beers, junk food, list goes on..

I usually poop in the morning and if I miss my chance, the rest of the day = powerful Nasty farts. Quite disgusting. I forget who said it but farting is like putting shit in your hand and blowing it on someone. Eek

All valid points, however I also feel the stench reaches my nose way fucking quicker in the shower. I guess the steam brings it up?
