Or, not so unique but here goes.
I've skied/snowboarded most of my life. Been on hiatus for the last 8 years. Getting back into skiing with the kids (7-10) and after being on rentals this season(which wasn't fun but cheap) I'm going to be investing in a setup for next year. Not a huge budget but I'd rather spend more $ for something that will last.
Ability Level: Advanced
Age: 33
Height: 6'
Weight: 175lbs
Terrain: East Coast(http://www.skimtjefferson.com) Small park features and rails(because that's all we have) Nothing huge(think sub 10' jumps).
Type of ski: Something playful, soft enough for butters but stiff enough to carve when charging with the kiddos and friends. 60% park 40% all-mtn
Other Notes: I rarely see any powder and if so it's 10-12" at the most and only about a 200' run of it.
I went to the closest ski shop which is an hour away. I relayed all of this info to the shop guy and he said I need a 160 twin. I thanked him for his time and let him go help someone else. That seems kind of short but was he right?
Looking at Blends, TCs, Halo 2s, and filthy riches(open to other suggestions). Thanks folks.
