The schools are on lockdown all over the are there. I first heard about it in first period. The local news stations were tweeting out advisories for parents all morning. Hope everyone's alright. I live like 20 minutes from there.

If the fucking cocksucker news media would stfu about them, media blackout the perp's name and simply focus on helping the victims this wouldn't happen so much.


Basically they get to be a famous bad guy and everybody gets to hear about what their problem supposedly was. It's a soapbox. A big shitty one.

So yeah. In effect, Fox News and MSNBC are as guilty for proliferating this shit as the bullies and shitty parents are.

Because kids' confusion, hormone changes, and general distemperment is being made out to be bipolar, ADHD, ADD, and other various diseases that in reality is just kids being kids. They're being told they're fucked up in the head, and naturally are running with it. This makes it even worse in their mind, and eventually the break down - thinking it's some psychotic rage they can't control.

The world is over-analyzing them and they, in turn, are over-analyzing themselves. Then they crack when they realize no one really cares in the long-run.

Also, what retarded ass school tells their students to just book it when the fire alarm goes off? When I was in school, we had to get organized and walk calmly to the nearest exit with our class.

All hail ar6. He is high and mighty and would never make the mistakes of the common folk. Because obviously everyone watched people get stabbed and passively stood around to wait their turn to be stabbed while doing nothing to stop the perpetrator. Then they freaked out for the fire alarm and all ran outside. There is no way that the situation was slightly more complex than that! God those people must've been mentally impaired! Too bad ar6 wasn't there, if he was in that school it wouldn't have gone down like that! He probably would've had his trusty sidearm too. Btw, are you related to Markymark?

It wouldn't really eliminate this kind of violence at all. Cocaine is illegal and people still abuse it everyday. Your statement is about as accurate as assuming that since there are anti-depressants people should be cured of depression, and since there are traffic lights and stop signs stop car accidents at intersections should stop altogether. Letting a few people with serious problems ruin the rights of all people is absurd, and I for one do not agree with the outlawing of weapons. What we need is an implementation of better support systems in schools, and ways for afflicted students to reach out, rather than tell everyone to "fuck off" and go out with a bang. Unfortunately, help is far too publicized in the of teenagers, and many would rather resort to horrible actions than swallow their pride and ask for help. This isn't guns or knives that are killing people, it is a lack of discrete help and support.

So you're saying a majority of gun owners who have no intent to harm other people shouldn't be allowed to possess weapons because of a kid with homicidal/suicidal tendencies? Accessibility is relatively problematic, but I don't think people should be subject to losing their rights because of this. Trying to ban weapons is unfair to a majority of gun holders.

Imagine not being allowed to post online because some kid had to say some dumb shit that got national attention and harmed someone, it is basically the same case. And in that case, would you still post online or even frequent a website, even if it did create problems? In this scenario, you never meant harm anyone posting online or reading threads but now you cannot do it because someone else had to harm someone. It seems absurd, but it is fundamentally the same issue, and it is absurd to take away the rights of everyone because of one's wrongdoings.

And banning weapons wouldn't take all of them away from families either, it is naive to think that taking the privilege to own a gun would keep it out of the hands of people who once rightfully owned them. People don't work like that. I hope you'd be able to recognize that people will disobey laws, even if federal, if they do not see it as fair or just. Look at the 1920s with alcohol, it wasn't just gangsters who drank, most everyone drank. Just like the current debate with marijuana, not just gangsters smoke marijuana, and smoking it does not make you a stoner either, although that is the connotation - just like owning a gun does not make you a murderer, although, according to many, that is the connotation.

He was on breathing machines and sedated, Alarcon said at a news conference. Doctors are concerned about additional blood clotting and bleeding, but “we are very optimistic that he is going to make it," Alarcon said." Definitely wish him the best for a quick recovery.

I started looking into things, and there have been a lot more people stabbed than 20. Apparently mass stabbing happen all the time in china and in 2012 a group of guys killed 29 people and injured 130 more in a crowded train station. When sharp things start flying around, no one wants to be in front of them.

But seriously. To all the anti gun nuts out there: If someone wants to kill or harm a bunch of kids at a school, there are plenty of ways to do it. This should be pretty obvious. You can ban all pointy objects and someone is going to figure out how to poison the food or the water. You kind of need to figure out why people are doing this, try to identify warning signs and intervene earlier.

Maybe the solution is to label everyone in high school as ADD, ADHD, Dyslexic, with Autism Spectrum disorder. If everyone is labeled with some kind of learning disability, maybe kids won't get singled out and harassed because they have learning issues.
