Once again an argument over a dub underflip. If the first flip was a flat spin there would be no argument since flat spins look very unique when done correctly.

There is nothing pretzel about what you did. You basically did a back flip and then did a back flip 180/under flip on your second flip(because you had no idea where you were in the air) and you body naturally came out of your rotation with that under flip 5. Truly it's just a dub under flip and every time I've seen someone do it, it's usually a mistake.
But like someone else said the first flip is not a flatspin, wackflip at best and then you just turn the next rotation into a underflip.
I know at least 10 people will disagree with but I'm going to not argue about it this time.

well, i don't think it's much like an underflip at all but w/e lol i don't care

The first flip starts off as a wackflip, then turns underflippish and then second flip is underflip.

I did the same thing when i tried dubs for my first time. The first attempt is very similar to what you did. Just got lost in the air and went too big

Well if you do two flips it has to be at least a 7. Since you flipped twice and landed switch my best bet would be that you did a 900. Sick trick either way.

Thanks, i'm just happy if i land that trick. its a 900 and then i can start doing it in competitions. all i want is just a double i just thought it was a wierd axis ;D

No pretzel its just a different dub flat 9. if you open your eyes and look at the first flip you can see that its a flat 3. the second flip is just you closing your shoulder which is making it go into an under flip. Keep it open and it will be a "proper" dub 9.

You have very low flat 3 standards. Clearly a wackflip

I agree with eheath that it was more of a dub underflip 9, but that's really not that important. What is important is that you were really close to landing your first dub attempt. Props!

It actually happens to a lot of people their first time I guess. I've seen it happen to a couple of people in videos before. I did the same thing on my first dub flat attempt https://www.newschoolers.com/membervideo/623180.0/15-year-old-Matthew-Denham-double-flat-attempts?s=198095&t=6&o=8

That's a completely new trick. Since nobody has named it yet, I'm going to call it the Scared White Boy.

not trying to involve myself in any sort of argument about what this is but i will leave this here:
the first part of the trick was in fact "flat." It was more technically rodeo but for ease of explanation i hope everyone can agree that rodeos and flats are the same maneuver thrown slightly differently. that is:
lincolnish flip (flip over a shoulder)
comboed with a spin in the opposite direction
in your case you lincolned to the right, then ended up spinning left so YES it was rodeo/flat
im inclined to say dont listen to anyone who says otherwise because they dont actually know what theyre talking about

did anyone else click on this expecting some crazy new trick only to be let down by another argument over a basic double that you can see at your local hill nowadays...

False. The two are similar, I guess, but you initially set a flatspin very similarly to a backflip - not a lincoln.
Jesus can we have please inform everybody of what a flatspin is?? I get that they're hard to explain but it isn't hard to explain what they're not.
They're not a backflip japan, not a whack lincoln loop, they're not even a full inversion. Look at how pros do them for the best explanation.

After careful review I've decided that it's a Lincoln to a Lincoln 180. There's nothing backflip-y or underflip-y about either flip.

Wrong. That would be a wackflip. A flatspin has its own axis which you set it about.

Wackflip would have been a nice looking 1 if you stomped it.
