Sup guys. I'm a stereotypical white guy with a narrowish face and a decent sized honker. My old cheap smith goggles (the very basic model) never fit right and I got some EG2.5's from theclymb and those worked better for sure. Is there a goggle that is made more specifically for my kind of face? Or is EG2.5 about as good as its gonna get? I've heard some good thing about Oakley Splices but Id like to see what you guys think.
Why not go to a shop and try them on? Sorry but we can't help you because we don't know the exact shape of your face. And trying them on is the only way you can find out.
Hey dude, after posting some similar threads last year and not getting a great answer, I tried on all the larger volume goggles on the market for myself to try to find the best for big noses.
The best fitting was the Oakley Airbrake. The Splice and (surprisingly) the Crowbar were close seconds, but smaller and certainly available cheaper. The EG2 and EG2.5 were decent and very large, but they did not distribute even pressure on my face. Likewise, the Smith IO and IOX were huge, but they were actually the shallowest and I found them to be worst for big noses. These are the ones I remember off the top of my head, but there were other decent choices such as Spy and the VonZipper Fishbowl.
