Yeah i saw a news article that said you can take as many as you want on the plane with you. Mor and more airports are starting to sell them over botttelzz
depends on the flight. In the US, some places give you one with a soda for $7 or something like that.
On a related note, my friend found a good way to get drunk for cheap in an airport. He went to a duty free shop, bought a bottle of rum (cheaper than in most stores), and the proceeded to house about 3/4 of it (splitting with a girl). He ended up blacking out before the flight and came to when he woke up in his bed. Another way to get drunk for cheap on a flight.
Yeah. When you buy Duty Free booze you can't walk out of the store with it and they don't give you your bottle until you board the plane. But once on the plane I think its the honor system to not drink it. I NEED to get bombed when I fly international since I am usually in a buoyant mood to be leaving America and since Im poor and fly coach I always drink my duty free on the plane and get free soda as mixer. But I can't afford to drink when I fly within the US the beer prices are outrageous on the plane and in the airport bars its a good 60-80 bucks to be drinking when traveling.
Back in the late 90s I went to Greece with my brother and his GF and her friend and her Scottish boyfriend. I swear to god the Scottish guy didn't bring anything for his carryon other than a handheld cooler with 6 tins of Stella in it. Lol on the plane he ordered one beer and it was just the never ending stella he kept filling his cup up from his cooler. You could never take 6 beers in a cooler through security these days.
i fucking love getting drunk on planes, i travelled on Emirates airlines last year and man do they got an amazing liquor selection. i think i consumed about 12 sample bottles while in flight, it was righteous
Yeah its the best really wish shit was free domestically. My flight home yesterday first class was 450 instead of 300 for economy I was tempted to pay the extra primarily for the free booze and I've never flown first class before thats the closest I've ever seen first class priced to economy.
It sucks that you can easily spend as much on booze as your flight cost if you travel cross country with a stopover or two and byob is impossible.
