well they were able to prove he didnt see the consequences, not just didnt give a shit
Your analogy is awful as well because the consequences of not paying for train ticket is the trains being slightly more expensive to run, the consequences of a dui is killing people, one is a little bit more serious
also you admitted to driving drunk before, if you hit someone would you still think 20 years in person is an good punishment?
Quoting Diglett:
I hightly doubt hes going to learn much about right and wrong in a $500k/year therapy ocean villa. Send him to the fucking slums of the dirtiest part of a 3rd world country and make him work his ass off there and barely be able to scrape by. Teach him that happiness isnt being wealthy and that gratification isnt happiness. Maybe then he would learn something more than having some overlypaid person tell him his actions were wrong and that living in a ocean villa isnt happiness. Therapists for the rich disgust me.
The defence suggested has suggested that he attends that therapy centre, but currently he is staying at the juvenile detention centre till they decide how to move forward. Even if he does go there the therapy centre is a private house offering one on one therapy not some hotel. Think about how much a therapists makes in a year, double that(there for two years) and then see how much is left for living expensiveness
I hate how biased this article is trying to spin every little thing to make it look like he is getting off easy
