Just cruising at 10 000 meters, checking my ns threads for free. Temp outside is only -51 Celsius, and I have a mere 7256 km to go in my flight. Pretty unreal the shite we do these days, and how we stay connected. To those of you shredding right now, you have no idea how jealous my sedimentary ass is at the moment.

what's crazy is that in-flight wi-fi is terrestrially based meaning no satellites used

^nope... It's a satellite. And yes, my ass is now a rock. It's a truly unfortunate condition that has been known to develop at high altitudes due to miscalculations when pressuring the cabins. I am sending in a complaint and hoping for full refund.

Using the free Wifi at the SLC airport drinking good beer.

I woke up at 7 to spend the day on planes and in airports. My roommates woke up at 7 and drove to Mt High for opening day, only to be turned around because they sold out of tickets. I'd be so fucking bummed!

Beware, I over indulged in the free beer on the plane, and am now experiencing the full effect of a sleep deprived jet lagged hangover. It is not the one. Although walking up and down the aisle with a good buzz on is quite a good time.

It is not a satellite because when I flew from Seattle to Hawaii they told us the GoGo in flight wifi would not work when we went over the water.

Yes, yes it is. Seeing as I was flying over the pacific Ocean almost the entire flight, also the message "you are now connected to satellite internet" was a bit of a give away.

Used airport wifi in slc, Dallas, and Houston today. And used it in flight out of slc. Pretty dope
