Thought this was gonna be some GPS based thing, see what photos have ever been taken at the place you're currently standing for example. Isn't this just gonna be one big game of dares?

Hahah true that. Doesn't have to be on your phone!

That being said, I don't see the problem with people shooting on their phone. If that's all you have with you at the time then that's all you have! Yeah there are a lot of terrible instagrammy photos out there now but there are also some pretty amazing captures from phones!
