Helmet/impact shorts. Sometimes I wear a back protector and mouthguard if I know I'm going to be trying some new/harder stuff. I just have one of the VPD back protectors.

helmet and padded compression shorts. Football hip pads is a better description maybe. Last year I smacked my hip and had bruising the whole way down the back of my leg and into my feet. Been wearing ass pads ever since.
