Sea lamprey vs snake

Which is stronger, sea lamprey or a snake of about the same size?

lamprey definately, i catch stripers in the river by my house and they sometimes have massive holes in their sides from lampreys. theyre scary as shit.

Depends on the snake. A puff adder would annihilate a lamprey

Depends on the kind of snake and lamprey. Most species of lamprey don't even feed on fish like the ones ypu're probably thinking of.

Overall I would say snake though. Lampreys don't kill their prey, they just parasitize them for a short period of time. Where as in most cases, the snake does aim to kill.
