i just go medic with mad heals and defibs and try to stick with a good squad. really helps. right now the ace23 is my weapon of choice, or the RFB if im on the right map and a carbine (g36 or ace21) for the more run run small enclosed maps). i think the RFB with a 3.4 scope, heavy barrel, and the stability grip is my favorite to use. 2-3 well places shots is a kill, and for longer ranges semi auto is all you need. auto just chops around too much to remain accurate (for me, any way, since my precision isnt very good with the thumbsticks).
i can't for the life of me learn how to pilot vehicles with the thumbs sticks though. i like pc versions of flying way better as i'd use a joystick. in bf2 i remember my chopper / plane kill death ratio was like 30:1. i was a master of the skies with a pretty dope joystick, but like i said i can't even get into a vehicle with the thumbsticks. my brain just can't handle it. sad, cause that's one of the more fun parts of battlefield, but i guess that's the price i have to pay for being on a console (which i prefer overall, since my friends have consoles and can have people over to play other stuff too). pc games turn me into a giant single player hermit try-hard, haha.
but yeah, really having fun with the game. not gonna lie the ghosts campaign was pretty sick, but i can't stand cod mulltiplay. the battlefield experience on the other hand is great. exactly what i want in a multiplayer game, and having the battlelog app is sick for all the stuff that you cant do in game like play around with your weapon and class loadout.
good times, good times.
