I would rather see hands-in-pockets landings any day over the primal looking, ass up, arm toss, "stylin" landing. If you don't think this fad/style hasn't taken over yet, skiers this season will be displaying plenty of it, as they did with afterbang 5-7 years ago.
Casabon is a perfect example when talking about adopting such a style. Casabon wasn't into the full fledged arm wave "style" until B&E started blowing up. The 08-09 movie, Refresh, portrayed the perfect balance of style and trick selection that put Casabon up with the best skiers in the world. I wish I could say that now, 4 years down the road. Skiing has become progressive so to speak, no one wants to fit in when it comes to how they look or what tricks they are doing. When everyone is trying to be different, they will find out that they are only being the same.
