My boyfriend sleep talks about this girl he fucked last year. All the time. It wasn't too big of a deal, because she lived in Australia. Now she's moved back to the U.S and of course, the town my boy and I live in. And he's "so excited" that she's back. She's having a birthday this Friday, and of course he's going and I'm expected to come with. I don't want to fucking go, but I feel like I have to because I don't trust either one of them. I really like this guy a lot, but im wondering if i should just break up with him and avoid the shit storm that's going to follow. Or do I give him a chance. Opinions?

Is there anything wrong with her? just because she was dynamite in the sack doesn't mean she's a good girlfriend.  If they only split up becasue she went back to Australia you may as well pack it in now especially if you don't trust him.

But seriously, run away, dude is only going to cheat on you and hurt you if you stick around. He sounds like he really wants to be with this girl and not you, now that shes back he probably will be. You also don't sound like you are out of HS so you have a lot more to go before it all matters.

I know you're only 20, but do you see a future beyond college with this guy? If not then it's not worth the trouble. I wasted a lot of time in some long term relationships in college just cause it was comfortable.

idk. I always seemed to be the therapist for girls in college who were dating the douchebags, I heard all the stories and one thing that always held true was that your intuition, that gut feeling, was always right about the person. You just kept telling yourself otherwise to believe something different to be as you said, hopeful.

I think he's gonna hurt you in the long run even if he decides to stay away from the girl who is currently the issue.

this is a tricky situation. the fact that you are having doubts about it is a huge reason why you should just get out of the situation. it sounds like it could get really messy. it sucks really bad since you like him, but a couple months from now, you'll be glad that you got out.

Somniloquy means jack shit, very little is known about the content of the sleep talking: some makes no sense at all and some of it may relate to past events, experiences, and relationships that no longer have current relevance or emotional impact.

Modern sleep science and the law have accepted that sleep talking is not a product of a conscious or rational mind and is therefore inadmissible in court. He might just be excited to see someone and since you are a girl you are making a big issue about this.

Basically, this dude kinda likes this other chick and you have a good reason to be questioning the situation.

Hands down, ask yourself seriously if this whole thing is worth it, and if you can trust him to begin with. Honestly, he sounds slightly skeezy if he's willing to just tell you straight up that some 17 year old (at the time) was the best sex he's had. Ultimately, this sounds like a one way road to relationshit and you need to get back on the highway of better situations.
