Sorta not really for me

1. Parents both grew up skiing, was on the mountain before I could really walk
2. Started out in the youth program
3. Started racing
4. Went to a boarding school to ski race.
5. Went to college and stopped racing and started touring
6. Ski bum for a few years
7. Go back to weekend skier
8. Start family and repeat with kids

Ahh step 4...but you can still look like a thug whilst skiing pow. I actually bought even bigger shit this year because I wanna be comfy and I no longer give a shit what people think of how I look. It basically looks and feels like I'm wearing sleeping bags.

Yes I can see that, but Dev wrote that he's not sure many teenagers would choose park over pow. Which would indicate that he thought the picture was stating that teenagers would choose park over powder which was not the case because it says "Pow > Park".

Guess I was spoiled on a trip to CO for my 12th birthday when we got 3 ft of Pow in 36 hours...Pow > Park at that point.

I'm real backwards.

Started of racing until I was like 14.
Skied mostly pow/freeride until I was maybe 21.
Now I prefer skiing park/urban to pow (i'm 25).

I have a feeling some old people will stick around in the park 50 years from now, and no i don't mean hitting 50ft jumps, but think about it an old time newschooler 75 years old hitting the boxes or a rail.

Dude I think some of us Newschoolers are getting on a bit.

I'm actually really excited to train the next generation. It'll be fun being able to actually help my kid out with a few tips and tricks in the park.

Now I just have to hope that he doesn't think skiing is some lame dad thing.
