Line Chronic 14' vs Volkl Ledge 14'
hey guys im looking for an all mountain ski that will ski mostly park but can do pow and trees as well. im 5' 9" 120 lbs. and im a type 3 skiier. also, what size would best suit my ability and skiing type? Thanks
That response i made on your other thread was for the 14' models... oops.
i have the volkl ledge 14' and they are really nice. i ski a lot of park but i also do glades. I recommend volkl 14' ledge
How are they on pow and rails?
still leaning towards the chronic... anything significantly better for the volkl?
the line chronic is definitely more of an all mountain park ski. it is really playful and a lot of fun. the volkl ledge is going to be much more park based, but also have the ability to ski the whole mountain. if your in the trees and skiing a bit of pow, then i would go with the Chronic's just because of the width and the playfulness. also a great ski in the park. it really just comes down to personal preference. good luck!
they're cheaper and will last longer
I've heard some bad things about volkls durability for some reason... not that line's will be any better, or even near the same haha, but I've heard their warranty is damn good and you can just switch out for another pair provided you're willing to wait for a bit. not to mention the chronics look like (and have a reputation for being) and incredibly fun ski
