truuuu. if you wanna be "good" at skiing in the eyes of the public, learn backflips. dont even worry about spins, rails, or any form of cork. Tell a "normal person" you did a double cork 1080, and their response will be "...." however, tell them you landed a BACKFLIP and they will get all excited and say something along the lines of "whoa, youre really good!" haha
Anyone can ski deep pow and hit backcountry kickers, but only truly great skiers can handle the ice of the east.
backflip. Any "flipping" trick is a backflip to the eyes of the gaper so who cares?
Reminder: You won't ever get good if you are afraid to fall badly; no one gets out totally injury free.

flat 3's are easy, especially if you are scared of having your head upside down (if it's your first flip). You just can't land on your head so you should be okay. I believe backflips are pretty much the same level and are really fun too, it's your choice.
