This season is going to be only my second "real" ski season (I've been skiing for about 5 years, but my limited mountain access and consistent injuries have held me back). I progressed a TON last season and I'm thinking this season I should get a helmet.
I don't ski park AT ALL. I dont think I took one park run last season. I ski trees as much as possible, and when that's not an option, I'm either bombing groomers or skiing moguls.
With as much time as I spend skiing in the trees, do you think I should get a helmet? And what limitations do helmets have? I've always just worn beanies.... Are helmets not as warm? Should I wear a beanie under my helmet?
