Dr. NS: SC Joint Dislocation?

Anyone ever had an SC joint dislocation or sprain?

A couple days ago, I decided to go back on adderall to help me focus at work. I popped about 5mg (I have a very very low tolerance for amphetamines). Long story short, I think the adderall caused chest muscle spasms, that combined with my horrible work posture, might have caused me to sprain or dislocate my SC joint.

At first my chest just seemed extremely tight and hurt when I took deep breathes. After a couple days it started to slowly feel less tight, but every once in awhile, it suddenly will tighten and be extremely painful. If it pull my shoulders back, my chest pops and immediately feels better.

I did some research and it seems to have something to do with my Sternoclavicular (SC) joint. Anyone have any experience with this injury or similar symptoms?

Normally, this type of thing is caused by extreme trauma so it seems fucked that I might have done it working on a GD computer.

I'm no doctor, but start training your back,
e.g. standing rows and wide grip pullups (these can be done without being in the gym)
and remember to squeeze your shoulderblades together real good when you do these excercises, will give you a better posture in 1-2 weeks(but don't stop, keep doing them if they work)

As I said, I'm no doctor, butit will pull you shoulders back and relive pressure and bad position in your SC joints.

I lift, so I have first hand experience with what I said.

you dont have to use a barbell or dumbells, use whatever weight you have, but remember GOOD FORM IS KEY, use a weight that you can do strict and controlled form with for e.g. 3x 10 reps.

and do the excercises every second day or so

I would estimate that it is more likely an intercostal strain than a SC joint sprain. I have been working in outpatient ortho, DII and DIII wrestling, and HS football for 5 years, have seen one true SC joint sprain. Just not a likely injury IMO.
