I just got a job selling computers and tablets at Best Buy. Any other newschoolers have any experience working there? What are some positives and negatives about the job, did you like it, ect.?
Yeah, I'm a sales lead, so I probably won't deal with that too often. That'll be the customer service dudes. But from what I've learned on my first day, it seems like a way chill company.
Story is semi related. I'm pretty sure a lady that siding even work at best buy sold my dad a printer a while back. She claimed that she worked for canon, but literally knew nothing about the printer. After he bought it we saw her walk out of the store, she wasn't even wearing a uniform.
i sold computers at best buy when i was in high school...and then transferred over to digital cameras and cell phones (the two were combined in one department called digital imaging at the time). it was a great learning experience for me and taught me enough so i could bounce out of best buy and break in to the cell phone industry right at the beginning of the wireless boom. i made so much fucking money slangin' phones when i was in college it's ridiculous. i was making 50k working part time while in college. fucking great. and i have best buy to thank for it.
