dude... Pipe is nowhere near done progressing, before we even get into the concept of making a bigger pipe, people need to start maxing out the height they get from a 22' pipe, I want to see everyone going as big as JPV in their standard pipe runs.
Is it done progressing? Hell no, people just started doing both way regular dubs in the pipe,
and 3 doubles (good doubles, I don't count the huckfest that is Kevin Rolland) in their runs.
And if you think creatively you see the incredible variety that is still there to be done in a half pipe, both way switch doubles, switch tricks in general going as big as regular, tricks like:
misties and nose butters in pipe,
tail butters in pipe,
nose butter doubles,
alley-oop tricks,
switch alley-oop tricks,
more creative grabs,
bios (if that's even conceivably possibe),
Hell, when I see a switch alley-oop tail butter 15-20 feet out of the pipe, I'll agree with you that pipe is probably done progressing, but right now, we're just getting to the next breaking point. After the Olympics, people will be looking for new ways to get and stay competitive, I'm predicting a massive explosion in the popularity and creativity of pipe skiing after the Olympics when the pros have exhausted all the current "standard" tricks.
