you are dumb as hell if you really were fiscally responsible you wouldnt speed so you: a.) wouldnt have the possibility of getting pulled over and getting a speeding ticket and b.) wouldnt have to spend the extra money on a radar detector; you just want to drive like an asshole and not get caught

K40 RL360i. get it installed and its completely discreet. Just 2 blue lights on your dash and a remote control for changing settings. No actual detector is visible. My dads got one on his benz, and i can tell you its saved my ass many times

where do you live/where will you be driving?
THis can make a huge difference. For the local police near me, my friends always picked them up, even with one that was only like $60. If you can afford a nice one, go for it, but if you live in a small town in the middle of nowhere, you don't need one that can pick up frequencies that the local cops don't even use. The other side is equally true. If you live somewhere where the police have lasers and radar, go all out. I would even suggest a laser jammer in combination with a radar detector (radar jammers are very illegal) if you have the cash and it is legal for you. I know in VT, this is all fine, as long as you put the radar detector on the dash, and not suction cupped to the windshield.

Idk how your freeways are looking these days but between daily rioting and Covid 19, the speed limit has officially been adjusted to who gives a fuck.

i feel like i haven't heard about radar detectors as much in the past 10 years. do cops use lasers too much for radar detectors to be that useful these days?
