all i know is you better fucking bring it on that ski atlanta, because if you don't then you might as well have a massive sign that says LOOK AT MY PATHETIC RICH POSER ASS. I SUCK. its already an obnoxious ski, i wouldn't get on those things unless i knew i was going to bust HUGE. but if you do get them, please post lots of videos of you falling on them. and no you don't need them for just powder, i almost bought a pair but opted not to because i wouldn't have been able to ski moguls.

you'd be better off with a little more tame ski....i ahve the BC's and i ski them all over the place and i love them...they arnt SUPER wide, but thy're wide enough to hld theyre own...youd be better off with something like this.....like 120-125 mm tips

if you were going up to AK- get the maidens. but since you are just hittin up the resorts get something more realistic like pistols or something with a 90 mm or so waist. maidens are just too fat for that kind of shit

get them for park. but mount them at like +9 or above. or else you will regret your decision. they may be a bit much at first, but ride them daily, and get used to them...then when it comes comp time, you can slay on them, or go to a smaller ski and realize riding madens makes cross country skis easy...

Id say no Maidens, those things are like 100 mm waist, rediculous. If I were you, I'd go with a ski that has bc capabilities but still is comfortable in park/etc. Go 4frnts, ARVs, PE's, but i wouldnt go over 90 mm waist.
