question on digi camera

i was looken at some reviews on circuitcity.com and the one dude said that he shutter speed is lagging even though they advertise one of hte features on the cam to have a 'quick shot' and a very fast shutter. he also went on to say that this is typical and in cheaper models becuase you cant find an instant shutter unless your willing to fork over a pretty penney. can anyone confirm any of this. idk waht im doing

I just purchases a digital camera, and it was after spending about 2 months researching them. I totally recomend the pentax optio s5i. Its an awesome digital camera that fits in an altoids container. I was looking for a small digital camera to keep in my pocket and bring with me where ever I go. This camera has been great. Good quality camera and photographs. My only beef is that it doesn't perform as well in low light if you're more then 12-15 feet away. I've taken it to a few concerts and it takes a little bit of effort to get good shots. I know this doesn't answer your question about the camera you were posting about, but check out this camera. I love it, and for the money and what is our there, it's one of the better ones!

Use a camera phone. That way, you won't be able to get the pictures off the phone without buying a cable or blue tooth or infared or email it to yourself! WOW!

I have a Canon A80 and i love it. Havent used it for skiing yet, but so far it does everything i need it to (except sequences).

you arent gonna get shutters that open right when you press the button unless you fork over the money for an SLR. but that camera is a pretty good one, as far as cameras in that class go.
