how to protect my knees?

I got sum bad knees,just recently, no real injuries just some sprains and hyperextensions. You know, not 100%. What would you guys recommended to project my all important knees?

build up your hamstrings... they help suport your knee almost as much as your ACL... I blew my ACL last season and built my hamstrings up and its almsot like I never blew it

what about those wicked knee braces that college linemen use? i checked em out online once and they have a 'knee garentee' where if you reinjure your mcl, lcl, pcl, or acl they will pay 1000 for your next surgery. the only thing is i think that the braces run a couple hundred each, word.

I wear a neoprene knee stabilizer and it helps a lot.

The whole sleeve might work, but the also have single bands to hold the tendon in place if you have tendonitis or bursitis. Hold everything in place.

braces sre great, you might want to think about equipment as well, those are the kinds of injuries that the line reactor is supposed to prevent. just a sugestion.

^^ dude, yrus me, scrape together the money and buy them, if you have a bad knee you can afford to twist it, then it will cost you 10 times as much as the binding, plus you dont have to go through rehab and such.

Bike, and STRETCH. Stretching is key because if your tendons are what hold your knees in place and if they are loose, they won't straing your knee when you fall. Stretching is the reason I am still skiing today.
