Your Scariest Dream

Here is the place to post all of your scary dreams that you have had.

I had this dream probably 8 or 9 years ago, but can still vividly remember it. I was in a Target, like the store. I got separated from my mom and was walking when suddenly I approached the right side of the store. There were pirates and the entire 1/2 of the store was chrome colored metal. On top of that, there was probably 30x30 operating tables (chrome of course) in which people were being cut open by the pirates. For some reason I walked over there and I saw my best friend cut open laying motionless on one of the many operating tables.

I ran to the left side of Target, where things were still normal, besides the pirates roaming around trying to grab people to chop them up. I decided to hide in the middle of one of those circular clothing racks, behind a wall of t-shirts. It was the scariest thing ever because I could see the pirates walking back and forth, not knowing when the were going to see me. Luckily the dream ended then.

I remember so well, I was in france in tignes,
dude, it felt like i was screaming, i was trying, but not a sound was coming out,
the monster was around me, feeding of the fright i had.
i was just stuck there, helpless, tied to a bed with chains with my tongue cut off.
i fought so hard to wake up and finally succeeded,
didn't wanna fall asleep after that and i didn't, not till the next day

After my first experience with LSD I started having nightmares of animals like bats were growing huge and shrinking rapidly it was honestly the hardest thing to explain, but by the far the scariest thing I've ever experienced woke up in cold sweats every night for about 2 months...

My worst nightmare was one where my family and I were getting on plane to go on vacation and my dad kept saying that we should take the next one since we were forgetting something or some shit. Anyway, when we took off the plane started shaking and at that moment I knew we were going down, I kept trying to spit out the words "I love you" to my family by my stomach was in my throat from the sudden downfall. Right at impact I woke up and was sitting up, that one had me pretty shaken up.

I was hiking with my family and friends. All kinds of random people I never see. I was on one side of a gorge, both sides of which were covered in snow. further up the hill was a cabin-like house that we were all going to. The opposite direction was a sloping hill that grew steeper and steeper until it dropped off to a cliff. We were hiking and I slipped. I began to slid down the hill and gathered speed. I was yelling at my family I couldn't stop and they were all screaming my name. As I went airborne over the cliff I heard my Mom yell "We love you." and then I woke up.

That was 6 years ago and to this day I get a sinking feeling when I think about it. The most realistic dream I've ever had and it prevented me from sleeping the rest of that night.

When it was super hot out I used too hallucinate while half awake

Sometimes I have this really weird dream where I'm reading the forums on NS and I'm in a specific thread and it is just scrolling down pretty fast but none of the words make sense. I might goo on here too often.

I was hiking up a mountain with my mom and I. It was a super pretty view everywhere I looked, with more mountains in the background. I remember my mom and I trying as hard as possible to take the best picture with the most amazing views. As was other people around us. I remember my mom telling me that she wanted to go to a spot that she had to do a small jump to get to. Probably no more than 4 feet. I don't know how to explain it, but there were people leaning against the rock so where she had to move near the edge to cross. I watched as mom jumped to the spot, landed it perfectly, but for some reason lost her balance and leaned backwards and hit her back on the rock and slowly rolls off the rock and fell in midair, to her death. She was screaming the whole time and it sounded so real. I was crying and on my knees looking over the edge...

Then I woke up... I still remember the sound of the yelling.

I had a dream I was in the car with my whole family and we got hit which killed everyone but me in the car. I was alone in the middle of no where with nothing except my dead family. This scared the shit outn of me.

I was swimming in a swimming pool at night by myself during a thunderstorm and then out of nowhere the water turned into gray quicksand and I saw a huge whirlpool open up in the deep end. It grew HUGE and the edges of the pool expanded with it until it was basically as large as the ocean and I couldn't see land anymore.

And this whirlpool sucked me towards it VERY SLOWLY, which made it even more terrifying. I got sucked into the whirlpool and drowned, and woke up SCREAMING. Scary shit, this was when I was like in the 7-9 years old age range.

Started when I was a younger lad, hasn't happened in a while. I'm walking around my house/neighborhood. everything seems completely normal, only that i'm usually wearing the same gym shorts and t-shirt every time. Eventually i walk into my bedroom to myself laying in bed. I always wake up immediately, terrified.


I've also been having another reoccurring dream lately. This one takes place in the middle of the forest where all the trees are very tall, and eerily straight. It is night time. Everything is illuminated as if by campfire light, only there is no campfire. I am standing in a circle of people (about 18 to 20). Each person is usually someone that i hardly know (friends of friends, cashiers i may have talked to earlier that week). There are a couple people that look familiar but that i cant quite place. These few people are as=lso the only people that are there in each dream. All the others are the not-so-random people that i have encountered in life. Each person wears a deep red robe with a large hood. Standing in the middle of our circle is a very tall man, wearing a long deep navy blue jacket. (the kind of navy blue that is the color of darkness. I would call it black if i didnt -for some odd reason- know it is navy blue) The man has an arm for each person in the circle, and holds a length of rope (the people in the circle each hold the opposite ends of the ropes). We play a kind of tug-of-war with him. If you get pulled in, you must tell him what you believe. I still have yet to be pulled in.. but I know it will happen eventually.

I had surgery a few years back, and the anthestasia really made me sick. I couldnt tell the difference between dream and reality sometimes. Anyway one time i dreamed i was walking home from school, and an ambulance pulled up to a neighbors house. They then started pulling out dead bodies. I woke up drenched in sweat. Then later that night i kept dreaming that i was being attacked by a beast-like creature. If i closed my eyes for a few seconds, then the images would be in my head.

when i was young i had a reoccurring dream about 3-4 times i dont remember much but it had to do with King Ramses from Courage the Cowardly Dog.
recently it was really short, it was fucking weird. it was a crying baby in a black room and all you see was it then a red hand appeared under it (devil) the babys face was frightened as fuck and then the devil thing started laughing and it was just like Ganondorfs evil laugh and then the baby turned into a skeleton then to dust.....

Not really a dream, but when I was about 12 years old I got so aroused that I took liberties when my mom was asleep. I think she might have actually been awake; I don't know. But, I felt guilty. Should I tell her or just forget about it?

I was four or five.

but terrence the tractor from thomas the tank engine kept coming out of my garage and tried to run me over whenever i went outside.

so i ran into my tree house and hid there until he went back into my garage, and it went on for awhile.

Also i had this one recurring about three months ago.

Different girls that i knew in my past would just sit and stare at me I couldnt say anything but they just stare at me and then they walk away and i would wake up all sweaty and shaky.

Not really scary but whenever I was sick as a kid I would always have the same dream of this huge airplane that was really a lot of applesauce on a spoon and it was making a very loud noise

This was just after I had gotten done reading the hunger games. I had gotten picked to be in the hunger games, so we went to the arena and when the hunger games started, everybody had bikes except for me, I was fucked

another was about 2 years ago i was at my elementary school for an assembly in the gym and everyone was there but i saw IT the clown staring at me with big wide eyes for about 5 minutes it was fucking sketchy i think he ended killing me or some shit fuck clowns

like a month ago i went on a criminal minds marathon and that night i dreamt that there was this cereal killer who was brutally murdering everyone i knew and the whole dream i had to run away from him, but it was one of those dreams where no matter how hard you try to run you can't and how hard you try to scream nothing comes out.
The last person he killed right before I woke up was my dad and i woke up so terrified that i actually called my dad to make sure that he was ok. it was one of those things where every time i tried to close my eyes after i woke up i could see the killers face and the murders he committed. needless to say not much sleep was had after that.
another one i have a lot is where every time i try to stand up or walk i just fall over and start to roll and then i can't stop rolling. it happens sometimes when i have a dream that i'm in a car crash and the car just rolls and rolls and rolls, same thing happens when i crash in skiing dreams. it's not so much as scary as i just feel super stuck and helpless, it sucks.

Sorta similar, I had a dream I was driving with a girl I was really into and took a turn too quickly and went off the road. Somehow we launched off the road through some trees and out over a lake and I distinctly remember looking over at her, yelling her name a few times and trying to say "I love you" but being so scared that I couldn't say it. Then the car hit the water and I woke up soaked in sweat and gasping for air.

Happened three times, one of the scariest dreams because it had a physical effect on me (high heart rate, sweating, breathless upon waking up), and also my most vivid one. Last time I had it was two years ago yet I still remember each second of the dream clearly.

I get the same thing when I have a fever

a lot of the time my eye just won't focus and everything seems super far away, and its disorienting and scary for some reason

This one YouTube video always gave me nightmares but I haven't had any recently. But the one YouTube video was basically like one of those things where a scary face jumps out at you. This was like 5 years ago though. I haven't had any bad dreams in awhile. Oh and I also remember the video was just nothing for like 2 minutes and then a rocking chair moved and then a face came out of nowhere. I had dreams that it was in my closet.

I really can't remember. But some reoccuring ones I have are having my eyes closed and not being able to open them, or only opening them for a second before they get to heavy and close again.

Also any dream where Im getting chased I can never run fast enough its fucked.

I had a dream that happened a few times as a kid. It was very eery, not necissarily scary, but it was like a great pressure on me and I was in the dark pitch blackness. Eventually, everything turned to white, and then I think I would see black/white lines going everywhere. What is creepier is that while in college, somehow some friends ended up talking about dreams and I brought this one up, and others had similar dreams. Out of body experience maybe? Who knows but that pressure was not a good feeling in the dream, and I would usually wake up crying, screaming, in a sweat or all 3 at once. Never could figure it out.

When I was probably 8 I had a dream my older brother and I were in my driveway, wearing wet shoes, and suddenly we were stuck in my pavement like it was quicksand. I looked down my street and the was a line of giant 18 wheelers driving down that turned onto our driveway and ran us both over. I was then looking from a view from about 20 feet above where I was run over to watch the trucks drive over my house. Then I woke up.

I had another when I was young where I was running through a pipe that gradually got smaller and smaller to the point where I had to crawl. I had the dream multiple times and only the last time did I reach the end of the tunnel. It was coming out of a brick building about 25 feet up with a wooden ladder going from the hole to the ground where there was a big circus/fair going on. I woke up before I was able to check it out.

Once I had a dream that I was stuck in the park all day on a 20" blower dump.

I woke up in a cold sweat completely out of breath. It was fucking horrifying.

Had a dream a few years ago where I was in some sort of factory that was run by these aliens that apparently were called the "Horrorians" and they would capture people and harvest their blood. There were like MRI chambers that held people and when a spark went off, their blood would drain down tubes attached to the chambers. There was also these weird triangle-shaped things that people would kneel on and they would be sent down a ramp into some water which would like cut the people in half upon impact.
Also, there was like a pit by the factory and I remember there was a car that fell into the pit and in the pit there were more aliens and pretty much just grabbed the person out of the car and started chopping them up with knives........not sure where my brain decided to come up with this shit.

I built a Monster Truck, and I kept rebuilding it bigger and eventually it got to the point where it was bigger than Earth, and I kept driving it around the world and crushing a lot of stuff that everyone had built. and eventually everyone got together and banished me from Earth and wouldn't let me return. So I added a rocket booster to the tailgate and started flying around and shit.

Eventually I got tired of flying around space cause I couldn't find any other planets to go to, cause they were all millions of light years away. I got so depressed that built a shotgun out of the exhaust pipes and stuck it under my chin and killed myself.

Then I went to hell cause god don't like them, and I quote "Pussy ass bitches that kill themselves!"

That hell is one scary ass place.

Had sleep paralysis, if you dont know what that is, look that shit up. Basically thought people with masks were walking around in my room, i tried to get up but couldnt, tried yelling for help but couldnt yell, the dream ended with someone walking over and putting their hand over my face.

A year or 2 ago I had this weird experience. The scary part was not the dream, it was waking up. It´s a litle hard to remember right now but I´m pretty sure I had a bad dream and woke up. Waking up, it felt as if I was hanging upside down. Turned out I was laying on my back with my head at the footend of my bed. My head was hanging down from the edge in a 90° angle which was why I felt as if I was hanging upside down. I got up all confused and discovered that my covers and pillow had been turned around so they were still in the right way relative to me, i.e my pillow was at the footend of my bed and the covers as well. I turned everything around and went to sleep again. At breakfast that morning my mother told me that basicly all the doors in the house were wide open, contrary to they way they were the day before.

So I guess I went for a stroll that night, got back to my bed and turned my covers and pillow around, then went to "sleep", only to wake up sweating from a bad dream. I was seriously freaked out because that was a hell of a sleepwalking experience

I had sleep paralysis once and it was fucking terrifying. hopefully most of you know what that is but for those that don't i'll try and explain the best I can. basically you are half awake, paralyzed and you hallucinate about things but you can't do anything because you are just lying there, paralyzed. I was hallucinating about seeing these devil things in my bedroom tormenting me and I was just lying in my bed not being able to do anything.

Another dream I had was about a pedophile chasing me. his name was gargamale (like from the smurfs) and he had a big head, crazy long hair and big cat eyes like this.
