tuning to drop D like a boss.

obviously i am very bad, but i almost feel ashamed of how i wont try to play a song if its not in standard tuning.

obviously you are because there is no difference in difficulty between drop and standard tuning. you use both for different reasons

the 12th fret and the d string will sound the same if you got it right, if not just turn it whichever way til they do

that was a really cool video, but there were so many riffs that could have been done instead of some of the ones he did

an easier way is this:
7th fret low E + open A should sound the same
5th fret A and open D should sound the same
5th fret D and open G should be the same
4th fret G and open B should be the same
5th B and open E should be the same

there's your drop tuning guideline for whatever standard tuning you're in
