Fold or crumple toilet paper?

Some of my friends tell me that they fold their toilet paper into neat squares before using it. Is that some weird OCD thing or is that commonplace? I just wad up that ultrasoft and use as much as i want!

Rip off two squares, fold, wipe, fold, wipe, repeat until done. If you do it any other way, you're inefficient and probably stupid.

Its gonna crumple tho right when you use it, so why fold? and crumpling prevents breakage and pieces left behind.

its kind of a crumpy fold

fold a couple times then the last bit gets a little messy fold. i dont want to be wiping my ass with a perfect crease. a rugged crease, sure, but not flat.

i can't even really explain it. it just needs to have a little volume to it.

"I'm a less conservative folder in that I adhere to the belief of the 4 sheet double fold. On the first wipe I rip 4 sheets, fold in half once, then twice, wipe once, toss. Second wipe I repeat the same but after wiping I may fold in half once more to wipe, then toss. Once I am fairly clean I may travel to a third wipe fold."

This is a repost. I know youre a new member, just make sure you google what ever you want to post a thread about followed by "newschoolers" before you post. For instance "toilet paper folding newschoolers" It works far better then the search bar on the website.

3 sheets folded into the size of one square. Wipe standing up admiring the glorious devil I just released into the world. If I know it was small I get embarassed and try to wipe sitting down but it is an all around awful feeling`

also relevant once had to wipe my ass with real money, in the uk so £5 note, unfortunately the toilet paper had run out in a cafe and i had no receipts, not pleasant though /claim?
