The first time I ever did a pro photo shoot, (with the local ski corp.), I got a full page in POWDER, and another smaller shot the next month. I've gotten something from someone for free every year since then. That was in1991. I've also spent about 1000x more on skiing than I've ever been hooked with, but getting some skis here, goggles there, poles, a few passes, and some threads blunts a little bit of the fortune it cost to live this lifestyle.

Doesnt really matter unless your tanner hall, candide thovex or shaun white your time as a sponsored rider is limited to 10 years max so dont worry about it just go out and have fun and if you get sponsored have as much fun as you can in those 10 years max

The easiest way is to go to www.hookit.com you dont necceserly have to be the best to get sponsered. Most of the sponserships are just discounts but its a start!

Yeah I remember a kid on here kept spamming threads with the same shitty edit claiming he was sponsored, "thanks to... " etc at the end of the edit. Sure enough it was Hookit.
