Hand drag 3: tips?

so one of my favorite tricks is a simple(kind of) hand drag 3 off a knuckle. I can throw 3's pretty easily at this point but have always been afraid of trying a hand drag 3 due to the fact you cant really try one on a bag.

Any tips? do's and don'ts?

It might be easier to think of doing a cork 3, as that can get your body level where you want to drag your hand.

i just sorta sit on my back tips on the run in, when going off the lip reach down and start dragging the ground with my hand while leaning in the direction i want my body to spin, grab safety and let it happen

come in carving good, do a cart wheel. that easy. it really comes down to commitment. once you do one you'll see, they're actually really easy to do

i just do a large s carve in, so im carving hard off the lip and just dip my shoulder down and touch the lip and it corks you nicely, throw a bit harder and you end up at 5
