Prepaid credit card help!

Alright i have just bought a prepaid Visa credit card and i am trying to pay a fellow NSer BUT it is saying that the credit card company (visa) has declined the purchase.
I called visa to see whats up and what they basically said is that it cant be used to send money but only for purchases.
how should i go about paying this guy? make a ebay add ect!
please help guys!

sell the card to a family member or friend with a credit card, then have them send the money to the NSer?

could do that, but only as a last resort. the reason im paying with prepaid cards is that i dont want my parents to know that im buying more ski gear lol they think i have too much already.
And i forgot to mention that ill be paying with two cards so idk if ebay will work unless its two adds.

Have you registered it online? That's what I've had to do every time to "activate" it.

yeah its all registered and shit.
but its only used for purchases and not just paying people money. i can use it on steam, ebay and other online sites

If you trust the guy, you can always send a cashiers check. Only do that if they're 100% trustworthy though.

Go into your bank and they will be more than willing to help. A cashiers check is essentially a check that is guaranteed to cash and will not bounce because the bank pulls the money from your account when you request them to write it.

Cashiers checks are as reliable as cash.
